myinfocampus: Although Montréal and Toronto remain Canada’s top two entries in the QS Best Student Cities index, Vancouver is not to be overlooked. In fact, in the 2015 edition Vancouver has gained a total of 12 places in the rankings, now just three spots behind Toronto and four behind Montréal.
Two universities in Vancouver feature in the QS World University Rankings® 2014/15, the highest-ranked of which (rising six places from last year) is the University of British Columbia at 43rd in the world. Vancouver’s other ranked institution, Simon Fraser University, offers a particularly unique study setting, thanks to the location of its main campus in the middle of the Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area, just outside of the city.
