myinfocampus: Although MontrĂ©al and Toronto remain Canada’s top two entries in the QS Best Student Cities index, Vancouver is not to be overlooked. In fact, in the 2015 edition Vancouver has gained a total of 12 places in the rankings, now just three spots behind Toronto and four behind MontrĂ©al.
Two universities in Vancouver feature in the QS World University Rankings® 2014/15, the highest-ranked of which (rising six places from last year) is the University of British Columbia at 43rd in the world. Vancouver’s other ranked institution, Simon Fraser University, offers a particularly unique study setting, thanks to the location of its main campus in the middle of the Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area, just outside of the city.
